    Didn't read through the whole thread, but I saw a couple people mention Bram Stoker's Dracula, which was the first to come to mind.

    I recently saw The French Lieutenant's Woman, which has a shave scene in it. I can't say if the technique was proper or not, as it was a day or two after I started looking into st8s. I'm pretty sure he was just wiping lather off a freshly shaven face though.

    The Butcher in Gangs of New York played a HUGE part in why I started shaving with a straight in the first place. Before that I shaved with an old double edged razor. What inspiration! lol.

    Default The Professionals

    Lee Marvin in The Professionals. He was in an empty box car hiding out and waiting for nightfall to start their plan I think. He uses an ear to mouth pass with decent technique. It wouldn't surprise me to learn he used a straight razor since his tough guy, leather hide couldn't be sliced by tools forged by mere mortals.

    Lee Marvin again as the washed up gunfighter Kid Shelleen in Cat Ballou, lathers up and shaves himself in the tub as he cleans himself up to go and kill the villain.

    Dan Aykroyd in Trading Places, is shaved by his butler in the opening scenes of the movie.

    In Mississippi Burning Gene Hackman stealthily takes over from the barber shaving Brad Dourif's character.

    Star Trek: Insurrection. Diana shaves Riker in the bath tub. She's doing it all wrong......but he doesn't seem to mind.

    In the, straight to dvd, vampire movie 30 Days Of Night - Dark Days one gets used but not, again, for shaving

    Recently watched the first two seasons of Sons of Anarch(yeah..not a movie) several times Floyd(no joke) the barber gives "hot shaves"
