I was joking in my post -- but the other guy wasn't!
But that's okay, those two have been in a few movies together. I can understand the confusion.

Thanked: 2the patriot
Not sure but I think that in the movie the patriot with Mel Gibson the bad guy is shaving by the creek with a straight right before Heath ledger rides over the hill to try and kill him, also when Mel Gibson rides into the fort to exchange prisoners the General is getting a straight shave. Plus in Monte Walsh Tom Seleck(sp) gets a straight shave. As my kids just pointed out in the Disney cartoon Tarzan the bad guy Clayton shaves with a straight razor does that count?

Was Dirty Deeds mentioned?
I know brian brown's character has one, i just can't remember if he shaves with it.
His wife does threaten to cut up his mistress with it though.

Thanked: 0I'm pretty sure there's a scene in the beginning of Zulu where one of the officers is shaving with a straight. It's been forever since I've seen it, so I don't remember who it is.
It's that particular scene that comes to mind when I think of straight razors. It makes me think of the English officer in the boonies, sort of 'roughing' it -- a very gentlemanly, civilized, but intensely masculine image.

OK, watched the 1938 version of A Christmas Carol. When he was getting ready to go out, he slathered on some lather with a brush and they cut scene. Now, I know you didn't see it, but since this was based on England 1845. I know he shaved with a nice straight.
