Thread: Name a movie where someone shaves with a straight razor

Tony Curtis uses ones (more or less correctly) in The Great Race. Luke Perry uses one (somewhat sloppily, but still passable) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Professor Farnsworth is seen to posses and correctly strop one in several episodes of Futurama.

well this aint a movie but a cowboy tv show from 60's and 70's called " GUNSMOKE", a episode in 1971 called "lynott", matt dillon (james arness) the marshal gets shot in a shootout and is bed ridden to recover, at 16 minutes into the show his girlfriend (kitty) shaves matt dillon using a straight, she then strops the razor( using good technique) and shave his neck as he gets nervous. funny scene.

If I remember correctly, they called str8s "britvas" in the book. I don't remember the movie much.

Another Kubrick film with Str8s is "Barry Lyndon". Lyndon's shave is interupted when he learns his son has been thrown from a horse.

James Coburn gets a str8 shave in "Our Man Flint".
