It's definitely coming back. Started with all the hip kids letting their beards grow out. Stubble has been in for a long time. Now I'm seeing mustaches pop up all over LA. Definitely on the upswing.

Thanked: 39I just discussed that with my GF. The moustache is on it's way back! the last time it was popular was during the 70s and 80s but now it's back, but looks a bit more modern. I believe it is replacing the beard stubble.
I'm growing a moustache right not, not entirely because it is trendy now but also for cultural reasons

One of the most typical look of us Portuguese men is one wearing a big fluffy mustache, I can't believe that the mustache is back, because, personally, I never liked them. Maybe it's because in this country men never really took care of them like they should, I guess. For the last 10-15 years, here the mustache has fallen rapidly out of fashion.

I've had one for over 40 years now. if I shaved it off I'd lose all my super powers.

I've had a mustache for 22 years and only shaved it ONCE.And that was only because the SURGEON putting my nose and facial bones back together requested that it go...... As much as I enjoy shaving-the mustache stays put.

I think mustaches only look fashionable on a certain type of man. Also, I'm not sure how they look on a younger face...they seem to suite the more mature face. One time when I was especially scruffy I shaved everything but the mustache off, I looked kinda silly! But, I'm only 23, and I don't see a lot of 23 year olds with just a mustache.
I must admit, this thread has inspired me to grow my goatee (chin and upper lip both) back. Facial hair is amazing, it's so easy to change your look by being more selective of where you shave!

I sure hope not
I have a strong dislike for the look of a smooth chin with a mustache. I say either grow it all, or don't grow it at all.

Started shaving when I was somewhere around 15 years old... I'm 50 now.
Shaved my stash off this last summer! first time! Had it forever and with or without a goatee.. now nothing...
just the cool breeze...
I'm really liking the clean, slick feel and look...
only trouble is.. everytime I look in the mirror I cant recognize myself!

I've had mine for 50 years (Yep)!
BTW, Sam Elliott has always had the greatest mustache, IMO! -sorry, Tom Selleck.
