Who Produces Custom Razors?
I'm aware that there are many people out there who produce custom razors. I am trying to compile a list of these craftsman for future reference, any help would be appreciated.
I'm aware of the likes of Bill Ellis and Joe Chandler; however, it would be interesting to know of any others. Post any names -- preferably with a link to their site, if they have one, here!
Cheers,
Paddington.

An up and comer is our own Philadelph here. Get them while the prices are still reasonable. He will be on the top of the line sooner then later. Randydance won't be far behind is my guess.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I'm very excited to get THIS RAZOR hopefully by next week.
Terry Knipschield of Rochester, MN is a master hollow grinder. He's been making custom knives for decades, but he'll also make razors and he's been shaving with a straight razor since he was 17.
I've met him several times and was fortunate enough, as was Randy Tuttle and Sean aka Purvis to have Terry give us a hollow grinding demo at Mike Blue's recently. I've seen both the razor I'm getting and the other that's still available on his website firsthand last year. Very very nice razors with top notch craftsmanship.
Terry will make custom razors and my gosh look at those prices. Those prices are unheard of for someone with that level of bladesmithing experience.
Needless to say I've VERY EXCITED to get that razor. It will be my first stainless and ATS-34 no less and a mammoth ivory spacer.

Looks like he made another at the same time. That is a bargain for a handcrafted razor! Keep us updated & let us know how you like it.
