    Default I forgot how expensive catridges are...

    I was at Sam's Club yesterday and saw these...Jesus. And this is discounted bulk pricing.

    Whoa!!!! Makes you feel better about the money you spend on straight razors/hones....At least that's how I justify it.

    I just wrote them a new slogan:

    The Comfort of 5;
    Plus the Precision of 1;
    At a price of "Holy Mother of God, HOW MUCH???"

    Six if you count that there's one on the opposite side for "precision trimming."

    I hopefully just bought my last pack of cartridges a month ago... $30 for 8 but when you pay that much, you make them last as long as you can... until it tugs and pulls the hair out Then it's a new cartridge.

    That precision trimmer gets me every time... I wonder How I'll fare with a straight??

    Damn it has been so long for me, that I was prepared to tell you all about the benefits of re-loading your own bullets when I read the title of the thread...

    That is one of the reasons I got into a straight a month ago I just got fed up with spending that kind of money, and it's worse when you just buy a 5 pack of those. When gas was $4 a gal I would get paid and spend $70 to fill up my Jeep , then $25 for friggen shaving razors. Then there were times I would get paid and say ok do fill the tank this week or buy stuff to shave with ?

    That's one of the reasons I switched to straights... got a wade and butcher... then a wester bros, then another W&B, then a Henckels, then a rodgers, then a reynolds, then a wapi, etc, etc, and I just got a Boker yesterday.... Dang I'm going to be broke forever.... then I'll start buying hones, and seven day sets...you know the song from here.
