Thought you guys & gals were about due for an update!
Squid is doing brilliantly well. She came off her IV food a couple of days ago. This meant that she did not have to have yet another needle her tiny hands or feet. She had had to have a new one at least once every day, sometimes twice. Big relief that was. She was moved to the nursery this morning from high dependency. She still has a nasal tube for feeding but is taking milk herself already. She needs all she can get to support all that growth! She has grown so much that she is almost too long for the premature size rompers. Not to mention her feet. Silver has dubbed them "kangaroo"

Or teacher, I believe, depending on the legend....
Anyway, WOW, she is a beautiful little girl. It makes my head spin when I see how tiny she is....my little angel turns one year in just 10 days. Oh, and watch out....she already knows how to absoltuely control you with a quick look of those eyes.
As a very dear friend of mine wrote as we were in those first sleepless few days with Abigail....' "I had just about decided that magick had left the world, or never truly existed, until my daughter first looked at me. "
