Used to be a toss up between my ERN, Joseph Elliot and my Columbia Razor Co. But now its this one

Too bad its so damn expensive that I'm probably going to have to sell it to get my money back and pay off the creditors...

The scales on that razor were the inspiration for my ebony Wapi which Tim appears to have executed far better than my imagination did. I'll find out very soon when it arrives in my mailbox which I expect to occur this week sometime.

Great thread. It's kind of cool to see that some of our best shavers are not necessarily our most expensive razors.
My best shaver is a $4.99 ebay special. It's a 8/8 full hollow W.M. Jackson. I barely put any time into it due to really deep water spots and pitting. It took a wicked edge and is an amazing shaver. It's also the only razor that I cut myself with

It seems to keep changing for me. I have so many great shavers that the best seems to always be the last one I shaved with. Yesterday's was a large Joseph Elliot that gave a great shave, no stubble 12 hours later with just two passes.

This morning I will shave with the Maestro Levi, which is seldom shaved with. and I know as soon as I make the first cut, I'll say, "WOW"!....... I forgot how great this razor is.......

Mine is a big (between 6/8 and 7/8) Wostenholm IXL wedge bought on ebay. It took over the spot from a reground, shortened 5/8 Wade & Butcher that takes almost too sharp of an edge.

    Link to the Wostenholm...
