ok I did a little research after my last post and found an interesting fact.
It takes approximately 60,000 roses to produce just 1 oz of Rose Oil (Rose Otto) That's about two & half dozen roses to make just one drop.
Bulgarian Rose Otto Oil
Put me in for one soap please.

Well ... lessee here ...
First of all, it helps to really like, no, LOVE the smell of rose. Secondly, you have to realize that of all the EOs (essential oils) out there, true, high quality Rose oil is among the most expensive. Bulgarian Rose otto (oil) is the arguably the highest-quality Rose oil you can buy. In fact, it might be THE most expensive EO @ the moment. (Or maybe that's a toss-up w/Sandalwood...whatever. I digress.)
The point is, most Rose-scented products are made using FOs (synthetic fragrance oils), otherwise they'd be cost-prohibitive. So to obtain a product that uses true Rose EO, at a reasonable* price, is a Very Good Thing.
*Of course, "reasonable" is a relative term.
