Slow Market
Im just wondering if the market is as slow for sales as it has been for me. Ive had a Takeda Damascus for sale for over four months at what I believe is a great price, and a spiffy TI razor to boot. Is it that the high items just arent selling as well right now?
I just wanted some suggestions to sell these things
Do you think eBay would be the route I should take at this time?Last edited by IsaacRN; 04-30-2009 at 10:21 PM.

Thanked: 402Well I'm having a lot more sales in numbers (not in cash, LOL)
and its been a while that I notice they are a lot more around payday
and a lot fewer towards the end of the month.
That is something I take as a warning sign. Seen that before.
You can just try to find new ways (i. e. advertising) and use the time when you have no sales
to improve your stuff or your knowledge. Going down with prices comes last.

Really no different than with anything else. When you start getting into higher priced items there are fewer potential buyers so it can take longer. I don't know what your asking for it but price it at about $200 and you'll have a buyer before you log off the site.

Thanked: 402Well there are very many razors in the classifieds.
And there are the sold ones in between which makes it quite difficult to find.
Seen the TI. Thats not such a bad price for one in mint condition.

I usually sort by price high to low. At the high end, there are many fewer "sold", but then there is the price. So, I work my way down to where I really like something at the price its listed at.
Problem is that my wife has noticed the credit card heating up and it's time to lay low a little. Too many small packages this month.
I am not sure the stag scales are my style, but that Spartacus is awful nice....

I could be the higher priced items, I just sold
5 razors and 2 hones in a couple days -- most
of them on the classifieds here.

Thanked: 156Its high priced items. No one is buying because the economy stinks.
Low priced items are selling great right now, $100 and people start getting picky.
