Yeah Issac, I think it's often hard to justify spending a lot of money on a single razor, even though it seems often guys spend many times more on higher number, but not as good razors.
As Scott said, he sold a lot of his razors taking a much smaller hit than you are taking with the Livi (as a fraction may not be the case though), but it's easier to sell a bunch of cheaper razor than few more expensive ones.

I believe I sold my Spartacus which was like yours for not too much less than what you're asking for it. It's a very nice razor, and I think TI still makes it for the european market but I don't remember what's the current price point on them. When I sold mine it was significantly cheaper than that, but the dollar was weaker back then as well.

I just saw a price drop on a Livi Damascus for only $100 more than what I just bought an Ellis for.

That's exactly the Livi razor I want. Just not at the time I want it.

I'm saving up for surround sound right now. But once I get all that done I'll be back in the market to spend way too much money on more razors I don't need but really really want.

If I hit the lottery this weekend though, I'll give you double what your asking for it!

Buy it! Pretty soon he's going to realize that he's selling that thing for dirt cheap and raise the price! That or I'm going to pull the trigger...luckily I bought something huge recently so the temptation is a lot less atm.

If you put your razor on eBay with a reserve, what have you got to lose? You will have a larger pool of potential buyers and that might be enough to sell it.

It might not sell and ebay charges you $5 just for listing it?

Or worse yet! It goes to a collector to languish in a horrible collection forever!
