    I imagine the Damascus is not for the uninitiated or the faint of heart. The thing with the Carbon Steel is that it should be an ideal balance between achieving an edge and keeping it. It also obviously responds well to the strop.

    I sometimes wonder how much more difficult the Thiers-Issard blades would be to hone. I suspect that once you get them there, with proper use you might never need to hone them again!

    I have never had a problem producing a superior edge on a TI with not much effort. The TI Damascus Razors are much harder and can take a little longer to get right, but once there, you are correct in that they are really there and outstanding shavers. Lynn

    Yes....They are absolutely Bootiful!! I will be posting some pics soon. Also will have a really cool Loom Stainless Steel Strop 2 1/2 in. leather. Yes, will have to mortgage the house for these. Keep an eye open. Lynn

    The Damascus_1 is now the OFFICIAL Best looking razor i have seen


    I wish i could afford one...
