Thanked: 171Man, there are more people using only one hand than I would have guessed!
Every time I think of you guys shaving with only one hand, and then trying some air shaving motions of doing this on my non-dominant side, I kind of shudder. It would be quite awkward for me, although I think I could pull it off if I had to.
I guess you guys probably think the same thing about us two-handers and the thought of using your non-dominant hand!

When I started SR shaving (about 9 months ago) I was only using my dominant right hand, but over the last month or so I've been using both. I was expecting it to be very awkward and rather painful the first time I tried to use my left hand, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually felt quite natural. I'm guessing it's because I've now got a decent knowledge base of grips and techniques, and I'm not just starting from square one. So if you've been purposely avoiding use of your non-dominant hand, you should give it a shot... you may be surprised.

I started with my dominant right hand only but soon changed to both hands.I'm surprised that the change was much easier than I expected.

I made sure to use both. That way I can use whichever hand works best for whatever technique I want.

I'm a lefty, but I shave, pistol shoot and use most other tools ambidextrous by training.
