Thanked: 317hyperbole (plural hyperboles)
- (uncountable) Extreme exaggeration or overstatement; especially as a literary or rhetorical device.
- (uncountable) Deliberate exaggeration.
Let's keep it fun guys. This thread was only intended to be a little good natured chance to poke fun at ourselves and each other without having to debate all the finer points of shaving and razor maintenance.
We've got dedicated forums already for hones, and brushes, and soaps.
Although, come to think of it, we don't have a forum for shaving apparel.

Me and Lee were talking in chat about how girly the whole ritual of straight shaving is. I have noticed a serious yearning to wear a dress when I shave
Here is a little fun of my own steve:http://straightrazorpalace.com/conve...t-foppish.html
And this one:http://straightrazorpalace.com/conve...girly-man.html
Some took those threads a little to seriousely also...I wonder why?Last edited by JMS; 05-30-2009 at 06:43 AM.

Thanked: 317Well, it may be the only person talking nonsense in this thread is me, (it's happened before) but let's face it, lot's of people doing something isn't the worlds best argument for something not being nonsense. Just look how many people shave every day with a 3-5 blade disposable
Oh, and yes, "attractive spine wear." As long as wear on the spine is even and in proportion to the number of times a razor has been honed, I think it adds character. It's no different that thinking that a face with laugh lines can be more beautiful for the laugh lines.
