    Who said it's not?

Personally, I would find this whole forum pointlessly dull and boring if we all agreed about everything, and we all took ourselves 100% seriously. You can't have a meaningful and enlightening discussion with a parrot.

I think that what makes this forum great is the very fact that I find huge brushes, modern scuttles, and 30k hones silly, while many others think that it's my overly simplistic and old fashioned opinions that are silly.

The same can be said about our discussions on politics and religion.

Have you ever heard a room full of devout baptist republicans have a moral debate? I have, and it's incredibly boring. Throw one atheist democrat in a room with them, and things get interesting.

(That's not a comment about baptist republicans or atheist democrats. They're just an example I've witnessed personally. The idea is having a room full of people who already agree attempt to debate something)

I welcome and thank every person who disagrees with my views in this thread, just as I welcome and thank everyone who has kept the jokes and sillyness going.

When you think about it, pretty much everything humans do is fairly ludicrous. I have no doubt shaving falls into that category too.

I think if you can accept that you are ridiculous life becomes a lot simpler, and things like straight shaving becomes a lot more fun!!

According to the majority of men, in other words non-wet shavers, the whole ball of wax is silly nonsense.

But some of these same guys also claim to get great shaves with a month old disposable used while taking a shower and not using lather. Now that is silly, and dumb also.

I'll just be silly and enjoy my fiddly shave.

I shave with either a towel around my waiste or my robe on. Towel when its warm robe when its cool. This gives me a place to dry off my hands between passes.

My question is why would anyone shave naked. I can just imagine the horror of a slick lathered finger and a slippery razor...OOPS
Adrenaline Rush and in honor of Glen Quagmire, oh yeah!

Why bother with the wire, just use a red hot razor and you will never bleed. Plus, the hair will literally melt off your face.

Listen Veedub, it may seem silly and to some even a bit foppish but if we don't do it, how otherwise can we possibly justify the expenditure of many dollars and many hours and the occupation of much space on all the crap we have deemed necessary to scrape the whiskers from our pampered (if not tortured) faces?
