Open an explorer window, i.e. a file browser. Type this in the location bar:
    Code:
    \Windows\system32\drivers\etc\
Then take a look at Using the Windows Hosts File, under "Format of Hosts File". What you need is a file that is simply called "hosts". Nothing else. If there is a hosts.sam but no hosts, copy hosts.sam to hosts.

Then right click, and "open with" and choose an editor / notepad / whatever, but not Word.

Add the following two lines at the end of the file:
    Code:
    69.16.253.67 straightrazorplace.com
    69.16.253.67 www.straightrazorplace.com
    Mac OS X
A walkthrough: How to edit the hosts file in Mac OS X – Leopard « Decoding the Web

Or open terminal.app and issue the following commands:
    Code:
    sudo su -
    echo "69.16.253.67 straightrazorplace.com www.straightrazorplace.com" >> /private/etc/hosts
    dscacheutil -flushcache
    Unix
    Code:
    sudo su -
    echo "69.16.253.67 straightrazorplace.com www.straightrazorplace.com" >> /etc/hosts
Now can you explain that in idiot speak?

The first hour of the outage was the worst. Everything after that was merely unbearable.

The shakes are starting to subside, but it'll take me a while to recover.

    How much is that insurance?

At least i feel better knowing that it wasn't just me suffering! It's a sad state of affairs when i can walk past my stunning wife without giving her a glance, but every time i passed the pc i had to click to see if i had access again yet!
I'm still a bit upset about the casino money though!

    Thanks Glen, you're a gentleman!
I'm not sure they have the power to put it right. An age ago i posted about the dealer being a thief though & they resolved that. I never found out what happened to that b*stard. He just disappeared.

Read the news, it was the North Koreans. They hacked S korea and US government websites, they probably nailed us too for the recent negative comments in the conversation. That Kim can be so prickish!

    Default B&B...?

I had withdrawals so bad I actually went over to B&B and hung out.

That's Okay....They do have great reviews over there on products (actually better than here)!

Like I need to try out and buy another cream, but after reading through the reviews on different creams, I just gotta try the Musgo Real.

Yes, all is now well in Mudville!

    Steve
