Thread: Return to Straights

Took my first straight shave in about 3 months! I had quit because I got tired of all the hassle with stroping, lathering, etc. I just got lazy in the incredible Texas Hill Country heat and drought. This morning I got out my IXL, hone, strop, and Semoke brush with mug of Pirate's Cove Bay Rum soap and had a reunion with my razor routine. It was great to be back. No nicks, burn, nor skips. That outdoor morning shave gave me a new outlook on life again. It is good to be back after all these weeks. I hope yall appreciate the skills and pride that goes along with this noble hobby/pastime.
