Thanks everyone, for the replies.
It didn't take much to perk her interests, so I think I have a seed planted. She's going to wait until I receive mine to see what the big deal is. I think the only thing that would hold her back is she thinks she'll nick and cut up her legs more than she already does.
Hopefully she'll be joining this site soon, as in a few minutes.

I know she's already joined, but this is how I will snag my girlfriend eventually. I don't care either way how she shaves. But she likes looking at my pretty razors (mostly the Leader). And when I got my J-nat (some background, her dad is an amazing cook and goes on an on about japanese knives and so she knows about that stuff, so I told her its basically teh same thign but a rock) she was like, so if its so smooth how does it work so I showed her then she wanted to try. And when I lather she'll smell or feel the cream. And from time to time I've tickled her with the dry brush. It's small steps but I think its drawign her in. But like I said, I don't mind either way. Her choice. I think what will get her is the brush/creams/soaps. She makes her own rubs and stuff, so its up her allyway.

Just tell her how sexy it is and show some enthusiasm. When the Mrs. uses this strategy on me, I am into it whether I really like it or not.

You could also mention that you could share the basic equipment to start with like a scuttle and strop, this will also help cut down on the initial cost while you both decide what you like best.

There is nothing more pampering for oneself than smothering your legs in a rich creamy warm lather and just focusing on blade and skin. Daunting at first but it is a different world to disposable shaving.

If she's still not keen on the straights you could try the DE route with her first, it's the middle ground between the two and can sometimes aid the transition, but also speed up the addiction!

It goes without saying we would love to have her aboard.
