'sfunny but my wife said something like that and I said " you mean manly like a gardener who's used to working wi' flowers" "oh yes",she said.
Pink used to be seen as a manly colour and blue, a feminine colour way back when straight razors were the only ones available.

Since I wrote the first bit I have felt that the shaves are now not so good.I got a smooth chin and neck at first but now I don't.Perhaps I got the last of the sharpness out of it before it started to get dull.Trouble is I only have a Belgian blue stone so far and I don't know how many laps to give it to bring it back.If indeed it would be of use.I tried about 25 to 30 but it didn't do any good.I was scared to over hone. I intend to get a Naniwa 10k or 12k and a 1k (as soon as £££'s allow) .One thing I do know at least is that if I don't get a good shave it's due to a razor which isn't sharp enough. My shaves are ok mind you but getting great shaves from a straight makes you a bit of a perfectionist. The diference to my skin condition due to the straght razor is obvious.
