Am I the Youngest Shaver Here?

I'm noticing in the survey thread that most of the shavers here are in their forties and fifties. Am I the youngest at twenty-two, or are there any other infants here? Speak up, children.

And for you youngins who aren't basking in retirement or old enough to remember anyone using a straight, why did you start?

We have/had one member who is 15-16 as I recall .... I know a couple of others are 19 ....

Fifteen? Wow, I don't even think I was shaving at that age.

i thought you must be - i did like the stooges reference to your age in another post! i thought i may be one of the youngest at 27 as a lot of people seem to be older but it turns out there's plenty younger than me- by 10 years!!

Thought I was the younger one here lol. Im 40 and still enjoy shaving with a straight. It has been a great way to the daily ritual. I have been collectiing many of razors off ebay and cleaning them and learning to restore some. Some were excellent the way they came. I have even started collecting barber shop paraphanellia as well. Signs, Barber Bottles and various tid bits. Looks cool in the room here. But please enjoy what you have and most yet enjoy a good shave!

Techy, I'm a fan of neato things to frame. I currently have a cool cigarette ad from a 1949 issue of LIFE magazine in the bathroom, but I'd love to add some old straight razor or shaving advertisements. Do you know where I could obtain such a thing?
