Thanked: 1I get the feeling that is the place where it is decided what kind of straight user one is.
a.: The Functional One (hey it works and no disposables)
b.: The Nostalgic One (meeeeeeeemorieeeeees)
c.: The Reincarnated One (Jack the Ripper in a previous life)
Last are usually known for a huge collection of straight razors and accessories. Beware of their lures ......

Blade,
I agree with Randy, somewhat. I got a cheap boars bristle brush at walgreens, (mykids now play with it) I then spend like $30 for a badger brush ( big improvement) then my sister sent me my fathers old silver badger brush and I love it. However at this point let me add there is no way I would spend $175 for a brush unless I hit Lotto.

Thanked: 4942I have said all along that these are heirloom quality and high end razors and products. I have hundreds of razors that I have bought from $10 to $1000. My point to you is to be happy with what YOU can afford and what you feel is practical for YOU. Thanks. Lynn
