Thanked: 01945 Soligen
Hi,
My father gave me a Soligen straight razor that was given to him in Aachen Germany during WWII. It was in a German hospital so I am guessing that it was used to shave German soldiers who were in the hospital. It is in perfect shape. Does any one have any idea how much it might be worth?

Do you have any pictures that you can post? Prices usually aren't discussed on the forum but people here could definitely tell you about the condition, what it would take to restore it, and possibly a bit about the manufacturer. Then you can look for similar razors in the classifieds or on auction sites for comparable value.

We don't give out valuations here but I'd sure like to see a picture. So are you planning to shave with it?

Its great that you inherited a razor with such history. I don't know what were you plans concerning it, but rather than selling it now for a meager sum, you might want to keep it as a keepsake of your father and later pass it down to your own kids along with its story. It would make a great family inheritance and symbol of perseverence. But your call
