Dallas / Fort Worth Contacts
I live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, and am interested in comparing notes with local straight razor users. And, on some messages I found some local respondees. However, when I sent them private messages using SRP, my screen immediately cleared, and I was given no verification that the message was sent. The Sent folder also has no messages, which further indicates that the message was not sent.
So, I'm left with two issues...
* How to make contact with Dallas / Fort Worth area users?
* Is there something wrong with the send private messages feature on SRP?

I sent out a private message yesterday, as noted above, and it looked like the message didn't go out. Nothing in Sent folder. But, this morning I received a private reply to the message. So, the SEND appears to work.
The technical problem still remains that sent messages are not shown. How can I report a technical problem?

You have to check the box near the bottom of the page when you send a message:
"Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder."
I found it confusing the first time I sent a message as well.

Carbonsteel928, fellow Metroplexer... Hello! You're right. Mesquite isn't far from Arlington, is it.
By the way, I just had a straight razor cut from a barber in Granbury, TX this evening. I'm going to post about it later. Also, found out today about a barber shop in Richardson that does straight razor cuts. Will include that when I post too.

If you sift through your preferences in the user area there is a checkbox that will turn this on as the default. That checkbox isn't checked when you first create your account. I found this very same thing confusing at first and went looking around for something that would make it permanent until I found that setting.
