I think these types of advices are best addressed individually for the most part. If you Study the classifieds and ebay, you will get a good indication of the value of razors. I always think you do best with a nice clean and shave ready razor.

In a short period, you will develop an understanding of what brands of razors go for what and what condition and different materials add or detract from value.
