I don't really notice any smell/aroma without burying my nostrils in the brush. Even then, it's very faint.

My shaving den (bathroom) is neither redolent of all the fragrances of all the creams and soaps used by all the brushes, nor does it make one think of badgers' butts. If I stick my nose into the bristles of the various brushes, I get pleasant wiffs of various fragrances, not strong enough, however, for me to recognize the particular soap or cream the brush lathered in during its last foamy tryst. The shave den, alas, smells rather neutral. Perhaps I should spash some bay rum about just for effect and whiffs.

When my brush is rinsed and dry it does not smell at all.
It smelled like wet badget butt for about two weeks when it was new.

When I use soap, my brush doesn't smell at all after using them. Cream, on the other hand, leaves its scent lingering for a while.

I used tabac this morning so that brush is still damp and it smells of tabac... i rotate 5 brushes and the rest of them are dry and fragrence free... the den though smells of tabac and lavender... i can notice them but i let my soaps have a day or two of fresh air before i re-lid them.
    Be just and fear not.
