I do that now- she seems to like it, and has made comments about it being my responsibility. I'd like to get some DE blades, since I forgot to bring any and there aren't any available in Taiwan, apparently, but the straight has been working well. I could probably get her to do it herself with the DE, but she likes the attention I have to pay her when I do it.

I did find that my rather wedgy W&B worked better on her legs than it did on my face, but I'm not sure why. More data collecting to do, I guess.

    I apologize.
It was only intended to give a little giggle.

    .

At least you have to be an extreme smooth shaver not to wake her up. Propably your wife would not want to wake up in the middle of the night as someone's lurkin in the same bed with the razor knife (and a brush).

At least here such waking in the middle of the experimentos weirdos would soon turn out to be a night to remember.

Good luck, honestly. Hope all goes well.

Last night, my wife read this thread, including my plans to shave her legs last night while she was sleeping. I asked her this morning how her legs felt, describing in some detail how she writhed and moaned with pleasure during the shave.

For some reason, she lumped every man in this site into her general "Men are sick!" statement.

My apologies for dragging you guys into my private affairs.

    Default did it!

my wife finally let me shave her legs! was awesome, I was confident I wouldnt cut her but man is it hard to gauge pressure shaving someone else!! tried with my 6/8 1/2 hollow as the heavy blades are more forgiving. she has agreed to let me do it again but will try with my 5/8th next time to get them really smooth.

Right on! I keep making a play for it, but I think it's just not going to fly...I always say, "but sweetheart, what could possibly happen?". Somehow this doesn't seem to inspire her confidence!

Being an older fighter I use alot of tape!... Lol so I shave almost my whole body, she has watched me get pretty good at using a straight to shave my own legs and I actually have to shave less than her as the straight shaves seem to last longer. This was the reason she finally gave in! She really enjoyed it, all the attention and the prep is like a massage. Stay with it it's good time together and somehow much more intense using a straight! Goodluck

i'm new to straight shaving, and as soon as i got into it my wife said "where is mine" so i'm restoring one for her now, but i'm not that comfortable shaving my own face yet, so she's been begging me to shave her......i think i may just have a go of it then...also what directions did you shave, up-down or any other technique, would be great help! as for the massage part...i went to massage therapy school so she always enjoys that!
    thanks

I tried both, some spots are hard to get a good angle so I went with the grain first so the next pass wasn't so aggressive. Legs are much easier than face!! Just keep skin tight and start light with a sharp razor! That was the hardest part was to know how much pressure! I used a heavy blade and just used the weight of the razor but could have used more pressure. I am going to try my small blade next as I kind of see how much pressure I can use and prob easier to manuver.
