Well it's worth a shot anyway. She thinks I'm nutty for shaving that way, but she has warmed up to it lately, so maybe it'll work.

I can understand the hesitation. I've been using my straights for months now, on myself and a few others and still couldn't imagine letting someone else do it for me. Then again, in all fairness, I don't know anyone else with experience. That would probably make all the difference. Perhaps, letting them watch you shave yourself first might help boost their confidence in the situation?

Well, she said hell no at first but then reconsidered and said yes. So we'll see how it goes.

Well as I found out, shaving can be a wonderful way of spending quality time together. I had a deal with my ex, the first time he could shave without cutting himself I would let him shave me BUT I got hooked and let him do it before he had pefected his technique, hehehehe

If your SO likes the whole pampering thing, run her a bath with her favourite bubble bath or oils, this will make sure her legs are prepped, same way as you guys would use a hot towel on your face to open up the pores.

While she is having a good soak, strop and whip up some lather ready for when she jumps out. After the shave use some of her favourite moisturiser or boby butter also works well and there, you have given your SO the ultimate pampering experience.

My wife is the same way. whe won't let me go near her with a stra8. she would prefer that i don't even shave with one, thinks i'll kill myself.
