Buying a razor from SRD is a no brainer and you will never be sorry you did. Besides you will get a razor honed by Lynn!

As for which one, they are all good Dovos and will perform about the same. Go with what you like best.

I really like tortoise faux ir not. Be aware that the gold wash on the spine and tang will probably wear away over time if you use the razor in on a regular basis. Check out the DD Goldedges and others on EBay and see what time has done to those. The gold wash does look really sharp while it is on though.

Good luck. Let us know what you pick!

Thanks for the input guys. I guess it will depend on how I am feeling on the day I order, whether I get the Bismark or the Tortoise. I'm leaning tortoise though.

I think that the Bismark is my favorite. But even though I hate red, I have to admit that I think the red looks better than the black.

I was going to get the red when I got mine, but after having seen them for real I went with the black. That does look better IMHO.

You really cant go wrong with the Bismarck, great looks and a great shaver! I'd say its probably my favourite at the moment..!

Hmm... That is an interesting issue then. I will have to explore the depths of the internet to check them both out, since nowhere near here sells anything shaving related other than the Van der Hagen brush.
