Default do you plan your next shave?

Just curious, but am I the only one who plans their next shave or do you just go with the flow and grab whatever is handiest at the time? For example, I'll start thinking about it several hours before. I'll think about which razor to use, which soap and of course which aftershave. I didn't use to be this way, it's only hit me within the last couple of weeks, maybe it's a middle age thing lol.

I shave in the morning and find myself planning which razor, soap/cream and brush I want to use as I lay in bed the night before, it gives me something I enjoy to look forward to when I get up.

I would do that, but right now I only have 2 shave ready razors here, so it isn't much of a choice. More on the way though, fresh from honing, or Poland as is the case with my Wapi(s).

You've developed straightrazoritis which is a compulsion to dwell on shaving all the time. It only gets worse with time. There is no cure.

personally I rotate my razors and soaps so there is no forethought. Its only my aftershave that I grab after shaving. I've been straight shaving long enough that I don't really dwell on the stuff anymore but then again i really never did.

I've never done that, I tend to make it up as I go a long. But then, I don't have expencive soap or creams.

I'm pretty relaxed in my routine, I just get on with it really. I can't imagine shaving with a modern razor.

So I wasn't the only one???...... I even wake up earlier and easier than before when I used the boring/polluting/expensive-on-the-long-run cartridges. I guess I have terminal straightrazoritis too and glad about it as brings back memories about my dad shaving, so I guess it's a family thing!!!!
