I gave up a while back trying to settle on a single blade, maker, or even grind. I guess I'm just a straight razor slut at heart. Too many real beauties out there tempting me and almost all better than the last. . . though there are a few I seem to come back to regularly like my Barbas Duras, Wacker, no-name swede, and more than a few different W&Bs. Of course there's the John Jays and the Reynolds and the #13 Fillys.. The list goes on way too long...
