Thanked: 1Dubl Duck satin baby?
I went to the antiqe shop a couple of days ago and found a Dubl Duck Satin baby for $20 and managed to get it for $15 witch I was pretty sure was a good deal after everything I have read about Dubl ducks on here but I cant find anything about the satin baby. Can someone plese tell me if this is a good find or of it was just some cheep piece of crap that they made that noone wants?

I can't imagine any Double Duck being something no one would want. $15 is a great price for any razor that shaves. You'll get more info soon from others, but the 5:30 am crowd says "good find".

I have several DDs but I have never heard of that one. I know one of the regulars here has an old DD catalogue so he would probably know something about it.
I think though most of us are familiar with the handful of DDs that we always see. They actually made quite a variety of razors most of which we never hear about until someone comes across one.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

And it's a beaut. Real nice condition, especially those scales which have looked a lot worse on other razors. Nicely done, Cow.

It certainly looks like the real thing. I wonder if it has something to do with the satinedge group?

Thanked: 1The scales are even beter than they look in the pics they are still pretty dirty inside but I think I will have to remove the pins to get them completely cleanand the blade needs some polishing but I think it will come out looking pretty good.
