I sent an email to Boker asking to visit their facilities, more specifically the part where they make the razors.
So here's their response:
"thanks for your interest about BÖKER.
For a general group visit, please use the internet ---www.boker.de
But you cannot see the spezial work about the razors. Sorry. Top secret.

Like all humor, I'm sure there is truth behind it. As in all industries, manufacturers have trade secrets and probably fear industrial espionage. I know I sure as hell would if I was a manufacturer.
