Great Looking Razor
Received a great looking razor from Lynn today. It is a Genco
and has Fluid Steel written in cursive on one of the scales.
The scales have an almost ivory look to them ( I know they
are not though). It appears to be a 6/8 square point blade.
Looking forward to Saturday morning when I can shave with
a straight for the first time. This will definately be the longest
and slowest shave of my life.
Regards,
Terry

Thanked: 4You're in for a real treat, Terry. Just remember that good beard prep is critical to a great shave. Please post your experience when you're done.
Good luck, and don't over-caffeinate beforehand.

Wayne,
Thanks for your reply. I have been doing prep for several
months now. I have a Vulfix 374 Super Badger brush.
Now what cream to use? Taylor Lavender or Trumpers
Violet?.
I will report immediately after the experience and yes
a styptic pencil will be ready. : ).
Regards,
Terry

I always enjoy a Saturday morning shave. Not rushing to work can take my time and enjoy it.
