Bob is a great guy, I agree. We live in the same general neighborhood.
I noticed from his ebay listings that we live in the same town, so two or three years ago I shot him a response through a listing. He invited me over and we had a great time! Also, we share other interests than just straight razors. Last time I was there we would discuss something and he'd say, "you gotta see this", or "you would be interested in this". Just a fun guy.

I'm still waiting one razor come to my mailbox from bob it's been a week and I foresee to handle it someday in next week, I haven't made a conversation with him and this is the first time I bought something from him, but considering his reputation and 100% feedback, I wouldn't doubt the razor that I bought from him

Bob mails what he has sold every Monday morning, or at least that was his schedule when all his auctions ended on Sunday. I've run into him at the PO before.

Bob is one of the finest gentlemen I have encountered in the world of straight razor shaving. I have bought from him on occasion, and been very satisfied with the quality of his razors and honing. He is always glad to share his experience and advice with anyone who asks, and stands behind every razor he sells 100%.

I receive mail from Bob this morning, and just recently shave with that MAB razor...my impression is simply a WOW, at first I didn't think the blade is sharp enough but now...I'm speechless, that is a great razor, just like what he describe when he put that on ebay...certainly I spend more money on that razor than I've expected but I didn't regret it, indeed his item attract lot of bidders, gladly no one really interested with 2" 4/8 razor (which makes the price much lower than the usual price of his razor), only me and one other bidder, in the end I score with quite a price...no regret, no regret at all...

I have not yet pulled the trigger on one of his razors but it's always fun for me to peruse his offerings.
In hopes that maybe he'll read this, the only criticism I have which I've said before is that I wish he would indicate in his listings if the razors have been de-pinned and re-pinned. I do not feel he's hiding anything or purposely withholding info. I've heard that at least some of his razors are restored to the level of re-pinning (I have no problem with that). Personally, if I were to bid a significant amount of money relatively speaking on a razor that was in excellent or "minty" condition, I'd want to know the level of restoration involved versus the level of original condition. I would bet that if I were to ask that question on individual listings he'd answer it, but from a potential buyer looking at listings, that's the ONLY additional thing I'd like to see.
I've often wondered if some of the very high bids that some of his razors fetch are from buyers that assume a razor is all original when maybe it isn't or they don't care either way.

I've one razor bought directly from him, and another that he restored for me.
I am 100% happy! And yep, I usually check out his offerings almost daily - just waiting for another of his to "call" me..
