    Default Bob Keyes Razors

    Hi everyone,

I want to put in a good word for the excellent service I have been given by Bob Keyes.

Bob is very helpful, offers good advice and makes it simple to buy razors from him. After trying to gather all this information about straight shaving and thinking it might be a bit complicated Bob simplified everything for me.

I bought 3 razors of Bob and he chucked in a freebie for me to practice my honing on, what a great jesture and man even the freebie looked ok. The razors arrived in great condition and I love the look of Bob's restoration work, they all look great.

I asked Bob if he has any strops to sell and he said he didn't at the time so I said that's ok. Then I asked if he recomended any strops and he said he likes the Illinois 361 and gave me a link to buy it from. When I went to the site they didn't ship to Australia and when I e-mailed Bob about the razors and let him know that they didn't ship the strops to Australia he said don't worry and offered to buy them for me and ship them with the razors. All I had to do was paypal him the total cost and he shipped it all together for me. What great service!

I recommend Bob's razors and service as its been a great experience dealing with him. Great service , quick delivery and great looking razors.

I have to second this. Bob is a great guy and his service is top notch, always helpful and informative. I've learnt alot and got my first razor (and the two after that) from him. He is doing some restoration for me now as well.

I couldn't agree more. Bob Keyes is a great guy. I have purchased several razors from his website and they are a regular part of my str8 razor shaving rotation.

Talking with him on the phone is a real pleasure too.

It is evident that he loves both his work and people.

+1 On that from me, too. I've gotten a couple of great razors for him...including the razor I started on, which is still going strong. He's a nice guy, to boot.

    Default Mr. Keyes

I talked with Mr. Keyes last week and mailed a Dubl Duck No. 1 Special for restoration yesterday.

He is a real Gentleman and I am looking forward to receiving my razor.

A trip to his website is a treat.

Wow, I have to get in line here!

Bob is one of the best people I've ever dealt with, either in the world of straight razors or anywhere else. He is unfailingly polite, patient, and helpful, and his razors are among the best I've ever seen. He has honed more than 10 of mine, and I've bought a similar number from his collection over the past year, so I think I'm qualified to say that Bob really, really knows his stuff when it comes to honing and restoring.

Anyway, you don't need my comments on top of everyone else's above, but I would feel remiss if Bob happened upon this page and didn't see my name here among his many satisfied customers. Thanks again, Bob, and I hope we get to speak again soon!!

Agree with all said. I have several of Bob's razors and have enjoyed some great conversations and advice with him. A true gentleman in every sense of the word.
