A LITTLE Rough?....
This one caught my eye this morning: Strop
It's got a "little mildew", but it's still pliable!
Why would someone even bother TRYING to sell that thing.....but even worse, why is there a bid on it????

I tell my wife at least once a week "80% of the people in the world are stupid". This I think covers both posts. Think about it a while you will agree with me unless you are not part of the 20%

Foolproof
This thread reminds me of an old saying: Never try to make anything foolproof because if you do, some fool will come along and prove you wrong

Thanked: 1glass half empty?
The strop certainly didn't look useable... but I don't think it would be that much of a trick to put some "new" leather on that old strop hardware. I guess I have a tendency look at things in the hope they can be repaired and used again.
The only time it won't work is when I look in the mirror

Bill,
My thoughts exactly. That looks like oe of those retractable strops where the entire thing rolls up for travel or storage. New leather and off you go.

Thanked: 2That razor looks like it would make a good butter knife to practice on that beautiful leather on that strop. LOL
