Thread: barber shave you might not believe

I just got back from the barber shop with my sons. There was a soldier in there getting a shave from the owner of the shop. This barber is right outside the gate of an Army post.

Anyway... the razor the barber was using... was a disposable Bic. I could not believe it! I was blown away. I don't know if I've ever seen anything as shady.

That is very common. Many more instances of using something like that than a straight or straight with disposable blade.

This really seems to defeat the purpose as anyone can shave themselves with a half-assed disposable or cartridge razor, and I'm not sure why anyone would pay for this "priviledge". But then again, I can shave my self with any of my straights better than any barber I've come across with his shavette. And with less blood spilt too!

My barber's father also uses disposable half blades. He says that it is always sharp and more convenient to shave his clients with. This way he doesn't have to worry about putting on an edge every time.
