it would be very nice to see one of the men's magazines take on a serious wetshaving section.. but as men's magazines are these days.. it would most likely be a giant gillette advert section..
and with the way things are going.. we can only hope that online sites such as the art of manliness have success and really start contributing to the wetshaving community. if anyone... they have the best chance of becoming an information source for wetshaving to the general male population.

I recall that. Nothing ever came of it, mostly because there are so many shaving forums where interactive information can be found free.
Unless you are breaking new ground with every issue, which was the case with some of the better inland fishing mags back in the 70s and early 80s, you encounter the "what is there to know about shaving?" attitude. And believe me there were many of us that took flack for advanced theories and applications regarding fishing because of the "what is there to know about fishing?" attitudes back then. All we had then were local association with others of the same thought. Just what we have here regarding shaving except international in scope.
Perhaps a quarterly one page article in something like GQ, which I don't read anyway, but not a bi-monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual magazine regarding wet shaving.

Who says a magazine has to be monthly? I subscribe to Ducks Unlimited's magazine (through my membership), and it's only quarterly. Four magazines a year, done professionally and quite nicely. I would say a semi-annual or even quarterly would be a way to start.

One of my other hobbies is snuff tobacco. They started with a magazine and are currently on issue 4.With such a small group of people that have a interest in it many thought it would be over in no time. They had to reprint the first two issues because of the great demand. Lots of articles about things past, the history, etc... Most of the ones sold where thru subscription but it was also available on newsstands. Not bad at all. Every issue had about 80-110 pages. How long will it last, don't know, it costs a lot of money to start such a project.
