Somehow I knew someone was going to ask me this. Actually it might have been on John Crowley's site but I'm not sure but as I recall something to do with the way the bevel is ground in relation to the rest of the razor. Maybe marketing hype, I don't know. All I do know is they give great shaves and they feel a tad different.

As long as it shaves great the rest doesn't really matter.
