Revisor. Any good ?
Hello All, a little help please.
I know nothing about quality, brands etc of straight razors so I don't know if this is a good one or not.
A Revisor, new old stock, unused 5/8 blade.

I have the same one. Exceptional razors. If you're getting yours off ebay from mr. barence, I can vouch for his service, too. It was great, especially coming from Germany. I got it faster than packages from Canada, and we're at least on the same continent
. I would probably rather have a 6/8, but the 5/8 is an outstanding shaver, too.

Revisors are considered to be pretty good razors. I have a Revisor myself and I even got it from mr_barence.

I have a 6\8 bought from John Crowley, I hold it up as my example razor, my others are sharp but not as sharp as that one..........yet.

Yep I have a 6/8s I got from John also and its a fantastic shaver. Supposedly the edge geometry is a bit different on them.
