Pinning alternatives
When I repin razors I've been buying the pins from Classic Shaving, but at $13 a pair it getting a little expensive. I've come across a couple of alternatives I think would work, But thought I'd ask for advise first. What do you guys use for pins?

Thanked: 324Some of the ways to pin your razors are with 1/16" rod stock of either brass or nickel silver or with 1/16" brass threaded rods and small brass nuts. Some people use bead spacers and I've got some of those, too, but I haven't used them yet. Many are just a bit too gaudy for my tastes.

Well, I bought some brass nails, with the head neatly finished as a pin washer, not the typical flat nail head. That way I'll have to pin washer on one end only. I think DOVO pins also came pressed at one end??
