Joe... you may be a little disappointed with the second one if you think it is for shaving.

The blade is hollow ground on one side only. The other side is flat. It was used by coroners and medical people and such to slice and dice specimins.

Well crud...nice conversation piece, anyway, and I didn't give that much for it. I still got one coming from you, and the first one, so I'm all set! Guess I can always use it to slice onions, or scrape corns off my bunions. And I can always use the case, I guess. I have about 8 razors left without cases. Guess I got one fewer now.

Yeesh, not sure you'd want to shave with it anyway. Just the thought of scraping that over your face after it's been digging around in a cadaver is enough to make me shudder.

Sounds like that second one is definitely a candidate for a good soak in Barbicide.

I saw that one, too. Doesn't matter...Revisors are great. Almost wish I hadn't sold mine. You can always re-scale it. My next project is a set of the plexiglass scales like Superfly made. I talked to the seller of the first one...he said it's usually pretty quick to ship from Great Britain, so hopefully I'll get it soon and I can post up how it shaves.

Yea the first one looks like a good score. The second, well maybe get it gold plated or something and put it in a display case with an interesting story attached.
