Thread: Clarification - Kamisori Razors

Wow! I didn’t expect so many reply’s what a friendly community!
Thank you all very much your kind comments and your ideas. To be honest I was a little bit uneasy about first posting here because, well, I guess the past assumptions but you guys have really made me feel welcome and I really do appreciate it.
I will follow your advice of you sending it to the top members of the group and have their take on it:

1. adjustme69
2. urleebird
3. randydance

In all fairness to urleebird (Bill), if he already placed an order with us, I will send an email to my sales staff regarding his payment he made and get them to refund his money. I would like to request adjustme69 and randydance to please message me with their shipping address so I send their order to our order processing.

Again, thank you all for the kindness and the opportunity. In return, I have decided that occasionally in the future, I will come here and have my own little straight razor giveaway again!

These would be the three top choices for testing and all will give a fair appraisal.

I appreciate the kind words, guys, but I think there are many here who are just as qualified as me for getting it shave ready. Maybe even moreso. I will try not to let you down.

In any event, I will have the razor rockwell tested, check for honing characteristics, and of course, see how it shaves.

if it is made by dovo, and cost about as much as a dovo, why not just buy a dovo?

They actually look cheaper for the hollow on eBay.

that's what i'm thinking. i'll be interested to see how they think they shave but for the same price i'd get a dovo. if it was cheaper for the same quality i'd think about getting the kamisori.
