Thanked: 0a big thank-you to Tony
As one of the lucky winners I want to express my deep gratitude to Tony for the generosity. I must confess that I was on the bubble about straight razor usage because I didn't own any hones or pasted strops. With just one razor and one of Tony's great hanging strops I was trying to decide between trying to sell what I have or further investment.
Tony's generosity and the generosity of the razor giveaway has sucked me in to the straight razor thing pretty completely!
I'm all the more excited about winning since I have already experienced Tony's top notch products and service. What a guy!
thanks and blessings, Dave Keith

Thanked: 0Boy do I feel lucky today. I won one of Tony's #3 hanging strops. That's exactly what I needed. I had been using an old 1 1/2 belt. I didn't want to get a new strop until I perfected my technique so as not cut up a new one. Thanks Tony for the generous gift.
Later at work I saw that I had also won a Genco in the razor giveaway. I had looked over the winners list before but an missed my name on the long list of winners. Thanks to all of you who contributed so us newbies can get started in this great hobby.

Thanks to all of you as well. While I donated the strops this was done for the sake of SRP as a way of thanking Lynn and the community for their support not only to me in the year I have been in business but mainly for their support of the shaving community. I belong to several groups but it is here that feels like home. I post other places when I can offer something constructive but have not seen this kind of activity elsewhere. Every day we have new members and everyone already here, new and old alike reaches out with time, advice, phone calls and often gifts of equipment to help our friends get started. I admire the way we, who may have never crossed paths in our daily lives have become a brotherhood.
I just wanted to give something to the group who has given so generously to me.
Thanks to you all,
Tony Miller
ps. strops are complete and will be packed later this week and hopefully in the mail on Saturday. The Heirloom Razor Strop Company / The Well Shaved Gentleman

Tony, regardless of your donations to the cause, you have been extremely helpful with great advice for as long as I've been here, and I'm sure it's been going on much longer than that. Actually this whole community has been great to me (I take this opportunity to single out Nenad, X, Alex and Brian). All in all people here set high standards to live up to and I'm glad I came across this place. Hopefully, I'll leave the same impression on other members in the future.

Same here Ilija, I've never run across a group of people on the Internet who're quite a helpfull as the one over on this forum. I've gotten to the point where I'm looking forward to people posting new things so that I not only learn new things but can also help out.
It's good being an SRPer.
