I would say that my faovrite right now is a Twinworks Friodur 5/8, closely followed by a DD Wonderedge 5/8. Two very different razors, but both produce superb results. When I first got the stainless razor, it sat in a drawer because I could not get it sharp right away. When I finally figured it out, it went right to the top of the rotation. It stays sharp and never stains.

Although it seems to change from day to day, right now it would be my Dubl Duck Wonderedge 5/8 (recently acquired). It's my first sqare point razor so I'm still trying to get used to it, but the shaves I get from it are wonderful.

to Joe Chandler for a 7/8 Wade & Butcher, and it's a
square point as well. Nothing against the round points,
they are cool as well.
You'll do fine with the square point. If I did so can anyone
else.

I have one of each. Since I don't do any precision work, the Satinedge and the Eye Witness give me comparable shaves. I just wish I had a better hone than my Japs. Getting satisfactory shaves from 2 great razors, but they haven't realized their full potential. The coticle should get here in about 2 weeks, so I'll get to see what these babies can do The point of my rambling is that in my case it really doesn't matter whether it's a square or a round point as long as I'm being extra careful with the square lol.

Thanked: 4Right now, I think my favorite is my Wade & Butcher. It gives the best shave of my few razors, sharpens easily, holds a great edge, and is just a pleasure to shave with!
I will be working on obtaining more W&B razors as time goes on. They are such nice razors, and there are so many blade shapes and scale types avaialble. I wish I could find a number or something to identify it to you with, but there is none.
