Yeah, I was just going to say, the Wade and Butcher razors sure seem to be gaining a lot of popularity recently. I don't remember hearing, "I sure would like to get my hands on one of those!" when I first joined the board.

I actually loaned out one of my two W&B's to my cousin yesterday, who's giving straight razor shaving a go. I hope I get it back in one piece! I got it at an antique store for 20 bucks. The "Gentleman's Razor," with a french point. Pretty nice. I did a demo shave for him using my Wade and Butcher "Extra Hollow Ground" 6/8, actually. I got that one at an antique store for EIGHT bucks!

It's a good shaver, that's for sure -- and I don't think I've even got it at maximum sharpness. I think it comes in just behind my Dubl Duck Goldedge...

    Well, I received a 7/8 W&B from Joe Chandler
on Friday and shaved with it this morning.
It is definately a great razor. I like the clear
horn scales also. There is definalely a lot
    of heft to this blade.

I am definately glad I've added this razor
    to my collection.

    RT,

I'm sure it will be an outstanding shave. And to think 4 months
ago I had never heard of a W&B or a Genco a Dubl Duck. Ahhh,
the insanity of it all. But do I love it so.

I have a Maestro ATS 34 with an Abalone handle that my whiskers simply run away from. Also have a couple favorite Pumas, Henckels, Bokers and other unmentionable brand razors too. Lynn

At present my favorite razor is a Robeson--Shur Edge, with a Wolstenholm as a close second. Of course this could change when I recieve my next batch of vintage razors. When it comes to the new stuff, I like both the Dovo and the TI. The TI seems to be a better shave and a nicer look. Have not shaved with my SRP #119 yet. I hone all of my own razors, but the SRP#119 is going to Lynn for honing. It only seems appropriate. How about it Lynn can I send my SRP#119 to you for honing?

The bottom line is that I sincerely hope that the razor gods do not limit me to only one razor. This would be a real delima.
