Sounds like you have your answer! Buy a new shave ready razor from Bill and send this one back to Lynn, that way when he is done with it you will have at least 2 shave ready razors.

You know there's that little investigated but widly known effect called the USPS effect. The razor passing under all those magnetic machines for sorting mail has the effect of dulling any sharp object.

Seriously though you must be doing something when you strop the razor to dull the edge. The acid test will be when you get the razor back from lynn or your new one shave ready. Shave without stroping it and if you have problems you know its your technique in shaving that is lacking.

Sorry I don't have a meat chopper in shave ready condition or I'd send it to you to try out while your TI is visiting Lynn. Check John Crowley's site too. He's got some nice larger razors.

Now there is a good idea. This way you will know right away.
Unless Lynn plays with you and dulls it up... lol

What angle are you using? I am referring to the distance of the spine of the razor away from the face.
    30,45,60,90 degrees?

Are you on any medications that would make your beard very stiff? I take several meds and my beard has become much harder.

By all means take advantage of Lynn's generous offer.
It is possible that something happened to the edge while in transit or when you stropped it.
