    Actually, I'm on Windows Media Player 10.

    I just downloaded the Divx 3.0 codec and that fixed the problem.

    I'm part-owner of a computer sales and service business and I keep all my systems up-to-date and squeeky-clean, so it's frustrating when I come up against something like this - it just proves that Miscrosoft, et al. aren't the greatest thing since sliced bread.

    Well, actually, it's my "fault" I made the videos last year, and coded them with XviD codec (similar to DivX), which is standard for trading movies on CD's. Thic codec (coder-decoder) offers the best quality with smallest file size, and the downside is that it doesen't came preinstaled on most (any) PC's. I did that only because I had 56K connection, and the videos were large compressed in usual formats, like QuickTime and similar mainstream ones... However, I plan to redo the animations (when I grab some time) and recompress them in something more familiar for common PC's...
