DD's are one of those razors where the name commands a high price whether you think its justified or not that's just the way it is. I picked up a Goldedge late last year which cost me about 150 but it was NOS never used or honed and came in the original packaging and it was a spike which is rarer. Personally I like the ducks and I think they consistantly give outstanding shaves and are easy to maintain. Are they the best? no, but they are right up there. Unless you really want a duck you can find equal quality for much less.

I concure with Bill on this one. I bought a Goldedge just after Christmas and paid $35 for it. The picture was a little fuzzy which kept the price down. It turned out to be in excellent shape with very little honing wear.

I bought a DD Goldedge at a church sale for $5 and a DD Wonderedge at an antique sale for $40. Keep your eyes open at places other than Ebay! Also picked up a W&B 6/8 for Barbers use yesterday for $20 at an antique store located in the boonies.
