    Wow, hi Silver.
I help nanna shave her legs all of the time. I cannot compare the knees to the chin. The knees have bumps and a concave on either side. I am sure like faces knees are all different, but I agree with the methods for stretching.

I've used a DE for years, love them and collect.

I follow the same ritual men use, hot shower or bath, I use conditioner on the parts I am shaving. Mainly I sit on the edge of the tub w/o drying off, get my stad where I have already had my kit set up and ready, grab a tub of mainly Taylors or Proraso...I also rotate between them and Trumpers and Truefitt creams...

Make my lather with my badger brush and warmed bowl (a lard ceramic), get one leg at a time brushed and lathered...some times I will use a pre shave like Proraso has that opens the pores and such or Trumpers skin food. Proceed shaving, heck I usually only make two passes and get a fantastic shave. All a girl has to do is watch the knees and ankles mainly...oh and the backs of your knees if your inclined to shave there as many do.

Not a problem, I do it in my sleep these day's. Thing is lately I think I am getting too much cream from the tub onto my brush as I am ending up making a mountain of lather and I dunno just don't want to over use or waste but that's me I am getting very nice shaves regardless lol.

I'll bet your wide indeed loves it, I don't know about strait razor shaves yet, but know my DE works wonders. I sit and ask myself why don't more women use them, men as well instead of spending all that money on useless junk plastic.

I would recommend a Gillette blue tip they are less aggressive. I never shaved my legs but try a hot towel and let me know how it goes. My wife loves to use my brush and soap to lift the hairs. She also likes using Bay Rum Vit E Aftershave Balm from Barclay crocker.

I've shaved my daughter's pits and legs several times with a straight and TOBS Eton College. She digs it and constantly remarks about what a close shave it is. My wife is waay too scared of straight razors. She did however liberate a 3 piece Tech for her hair removal needs. I understand TOBS Avocado, is the "chick cream of choice" though
The older I get, the better I was
